Socratic Mode
Highlight text, press a hotkey, and discuss it. Ask questions like "Is this too formal?" or "Make this more concrete." Have a conversation, then apply the refined version.
Dictation Mode
Highlight text, press a hotkey, and speak the replacement. Ada transcribes your words, cleans up filler words and grammar, and shows a diff. Your voice, your words.
Local & Private
Speech recognition runs entirely on your Mac using Parakeet. Your drafts never leave your machine. Only the text you're actively editing is sent to the AI for suggestions.
Comment Threads
Create multiple annotations on different passages. Each becomes a persistent conversation thread in the margin, just like comments in Google Docs, but voice-first.
